Site feasibility studies
Our feasibility study is an evaluation and analysis of the potential of a proposed project which is based on extensive investigation and research to support the process of decision making. Feasibility studies aim to objectively and rationally uncover the strengths and weakness, helps identify feasible options and assist in the strategic development of a proposed site.
Concept design appraisals
The concept design appraisal is essentially based on reviewing design drawings and documentation. We will then provide a comprehensive design appraisal service covering factors such as design concept, location, outline specifications, planning strategy, minimum functional requirements, constraints, cost, procurement options, program and phasing strategy, sustainability and construction logistics. We aim to bring forward a design that can be developed into a truly best in class solution to suit our clients’ requirements.
Interior design
The success of any building depends as much on the expertise of the architect and the interior designer as on innovation and the artist’s eye. Buildings and the built environment are fundamental to the way we live. Interior Design is a means of shaping these processes and providing functional and aesthetic solutions that optimize the quality of everyday life in every aspect. Rocco captures every element of the interior design process and focus on producing innovative and user-oriented designs that work.
Our design, whilst contemporary in style, is individually tailored to the site and brief, environmentally appropriate and sympathetic to their surroundings. Our overriding goal is to achieve inspired, cost effective architectural solutions to everyday problems, delivered on time and within budget. With our affiliate companies in China and Macau, we also provide a full design and build package.
Budget development
Our team of professionals will help our client to set his total project budget which usually includes the acquisition of property, construction cost, approval fees, planning and financing costs, site investigations, fixtures, fittings and equipment, cost of relocation, contracts, insurance, consultation, inflation and contingency cost. We target to maximize the return on our clients’ investment both in terms of the environment and finance. We also provide contract tendering management services, preliminary and pre-bid estimates.
Master scheduling and phasing management
Our engineers monitor construction activities closely to reinforce the application of safety systems and programs. They are also involved in the management of changes in order to avoid the delay in delivering construction material or construction defects by contractor or vendors.
On-site construction management
As the project administrator, we are responsible for administering the cost and the construction contract(s). We interrogate and assess the implication of details required in the construction program. We act as our client’s project manager to manage and coordinate with architects, engineers, related design consultants and contractors. We are on-site to combine logistics to provide professional solutions to any problems or defects.
Project status reporting
Our project status report communicates with the client on the status of a project. This report is a tool for our project managers to inform our client on the progress of the project, raise issues, and request assistance if needed. This report helps keeping the project on track and within budget as actions can be taken immediately after notifying parties responsible for any non-compliance of requirements.
Quality & cost control
Our quality management team ensures products and services comply with our clients’ requirements by inspection and verification of contractor’s design documents, technical specifications, material samples, installation specification, MEP systems, and fire systems so that the required standards can be established. Any product does not comply with our requirements can then be discarded or replaced. Our team liaises with contractors for smoothing the management of changing orders in the construction project to ensure compliance with our client’s plans and specifications.
Our quality assurance is planned and systematic. We do not only check on the final products to avoid defects but also check on the product quality in a planned way in all the production stages in order to prevent defects and errors from occurring in the first place. We also undertake the post occupancy reviews with our client to rectify defects.
Project cost control is one of the most important design-build activities needed to ensure our client’s project is delivered within the cost expectations laid down by the contract’s definition. Our cost control administration team embraces the planned value throughout the project to ensure that the cost and time are contained in the planned contract during construction and towards the completion of construction.
We take pride in guiding our clients through the planning process and the technicalities of the building regulations, working closely through the different work stages from concept and feasibility through construction, completion and post completion rectification period.
