Prior to joining Rocco Design Studio, Helen worked in K&C Creation Limited, a Japanese design & built company. With her great enthusiasm for design and high level of competence in project management, she led the design & project team for a Japanese casual wear chain brand's stores in Hong Kong. Her great performance and keen contribution have earned trust and appreciation from colleagues, director and clients. Helen graduated with an Honor in Bachelor or Arts in Design, major in Environment and Interior Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During her study there, two of her creative works were exhibited at the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (2009) and Hong Kong Detour (2010) respectively.
'Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.' This is what Helen strives for in her design. Needless to say, she cares about the aesthetics of space, but what is more important is the connection of space with its people: how people use it; how people feel about it. Life can be mundane, routine and sometimes meaningless; she hopes her design can transform human experience into one that is exciting, inspiring and meaningful.
Helen is currently working as a senior interior designer in Rocco Design Studio aiming to take on new & exciting challenges and create more intriguing designs.
