The new UNESCO data center, designed by our design team at Philip Liao & Partners Limited, creates a powerful cultural presence defining the urban piazza, the central park along the site, the public space and inner workings of the UNESCO data center. The 150-seat multi-purpose function room, the exhibition hall, and the library, is at the heart of the UNESCO development. Also on the site are underground parking and office space with roof top garden.

The concept of the UNESCO Development is to build a powerful cultural presence expressed in dynamic volumes sculpted to project a fluid and transparent public dialogue with the cultural, commercial and residential surroundings whilst communicating the various inner forces intrinsic to the data center. This composition creates a dynamic urban gathering place and icon mirroring the joy and culture emblematic of Macau itself.
